Nokia’s much awaited 5800 XpressMusic totally touch screen handset has finally been launched here in India amidst eager reviewers and techies, including yours truly. The lovely Priyanka Chopra, Nokia’s brand ambassador was there to kick off the launch and was presented with a special edition 5800 from Nokia.

Here’s a quick recap of the features that the 5800 employs –

• 3.2 inch TFT Touchscreen – 360 x 640, 16m colors
• Accelerometer and Proximity sensor
• 81MB internal memory and 8GB microSD included with package
• GPRS/EDGE, 3G with HSDPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth with A2DP and micro USB 2.0
• 3MP AF camera with Carl Zeiss Optics
• GPS with A-GPS support
• Media player for audio and video
• 3.5mm earphones/TV out
