Some Awesome new feature

Retina Display: The 960-by-640 backlit LCD display with a pixel density of 326 pixels per inch, making it the highest-resolution phone screen ever. To achieve this, Apple engineers developed pixels that the human eye can’t distinguish individual pixels. That makes text remarkably sharp and graphics incredibly vivid. IPS technology also provides excellent color and contrast from almost any viewing angle.

Stainless Steel: Five times stronger than standard steel, the CNC-machined band is the mounting point for all the components of iPhone 4. The band provides impressive structural rigidity and allows for its incredibly thin, refined design.

New Apple’s A4 Processor: Apple engineers designed the A4 chip to be a remarkably powerful with power-efficient mobile processor. Thats why iPhone 4 can easily perform complex jobs such as multitasking, editing video, and placing FaceTime calls and also maximize the battery life

GYRO+Accelometr: iPhone 4 has a built-in three-axis gyroscope paired with the accelerometer, it makes iPhone 4 capable of advanced motion sensing such as user acceleration, full 3D attitude, and rotation rate for greater gaming expereince.

Enhanced camera with LED: The iPhone 4 camera shoots gorgeous 5-megapixel photos and stunning HD video. Apple sued over screen rendering technology in iPhone

Filed Under (apple, news) by fazle321 on 23-02-2009

Apple is facing another iPhone lawsuit, this time focusing on the screen rendering technology Apple uses in the iPhone and iPod touch.

In the suit, filed in the United States District Court for the District of Delaware, Picsel Technologies claims that the rendering process Apple uses on the iPhone violates Piscel’s patents. Specifically, Picsel said its technology accelerates the process of updating the display on a device.

In the lawsuit filed by Nixon Peabody LLP on behalf of Picsel, lawyers said users would experience long screen update delays if it weren’t for the use of the patented technology. Zooming and panning documents, Web sites, and images would not work on the iPhone as fluidly, according to the lawsuit.

Picsel says its technology has been included in more than 250 million units worldwide. The company counts KDDI, Motorola, Nokia, NTT DoCoMo, Palm, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, and Sharp as customers.

Picsel is asking the court to order Apple to compensate Piscel for devices already sold with treble damages.

How to make your own free iPhone dock

Apple didn’t get rich by writing a lot of cheques, or by giving something away when it could charge for it later. Even when that something would mean your iPhone wasn’t left kicking around on the computer desk, getting scratched up and knocked off.
All we get from Apple is a poxy little USB cable, while Steve Jobs and Tim Cook sit on a mountain of sweet-smelling cash, rubbing coins on their faces and smoking roll-ups made from £20 notes that they lit with a £5 note – all because we went out and bought a dock for our iPhone that should have had one included in the box!
Where was I? Oh yes – picking my iPhone up off the floor.
But no longer. I decided to learn by Apple’s thrifty example and made my own iPhone stand from recycled cardboard.
That’s right, Cook! How do you like them… Apples. Hmm, he probably likes them quite a lot. Not the best sting I’ve ever administered to The Man, but you get the point.
Apple’s got enough of your money, dear punter, so Pocket Gamer‘s here to save you a few quid and show you how to make your own iPhone/iPod touch stand.
You’re very welcome.

Here’s a plan for your new stand. It’s A4 landscape size, and gives you all the dimensions so you can measure out and draw the flattened iPhone stand on a piece of cardboard.

According to Apple Insider, knockoff iPhone Nanos have surfaced in stores around Thailand, all fitting the description of the rumored Nano which has yet to be confirmed by Apple or any manufacturer.
Many of the devices even include the official Apple logo and iPhone labeling and branding, making some of the fakes very hard to spot.
The OS of the phone also mimics that of official iPhones down to the icons and wallpapers.
