Delete Could not open Registry file iTunes and Safari: How To

Sometimes when installing or uninstalling iTunes or Safari Browser you get an error saying

Could not open key:
UNKNOWN\Components\DA42BC89BF25F5BD0AF18C3B9B1A1EE8
\b25099274a207264182f8181add555d0.
Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel.

This happens cause the registry entry/key needed to be modified for the install progress of iTunes cannot be accessed. There is no software or plugin to do this job so you have to do it manually.

For basic PC user this is a hard thing to do and there are risks too. So I will explain it in easy and simple word. First and most important thing to do is to take a full backup of registry files.

Open Run Command box and type REGEDIT this will open the registry panel. Click on the top menu called computer, right click it and export your registry entries for protection. Now run the program that giving error of not accessible registry and see the registry entry name this should be like this DA42BC89BF25F5BD0AF18C3B9B1A1EE8. Now go to the registry panel and press F3 this will open the find box now put first 5 letter of the entry and search it. when it reaches that entry it will give you an error of not accessible.

Now the solution closed the key tree mean go to the most up level of the entry you want to access. and right click it and go to the Permission option. Now check that check the Allow box of the administrator user and click apply like in the below pic :

Now click on the Advanced menu and go to the Owner tab and check the box saying : Replace owner on subcontainers and objects. Like the 2nd picture above and than Click ok and you are done.

You have to do the same progress for the inner entry too cause doing this we only modified the head entry and main entry is still left to applied for the Permission. And after this you will able to Install or Uninstall iTunes or Safari and other program that giving registry access error

Microsoft reveals new windows 8 logo

With the new windows 8 operating system Microsoft is redeveloping the way people know windows and changing the user interface of windows by making windows more easier, helpful and user friendly This new operating system coming later this year.Microsoft done lot of changes in this windows 8 and most of the people already knows the new Metro interface and I think people are loving the new interface of windows cause the downloading of Windows 8 have already crossed 3 million download and still counting.

In this picture you can also see the logos from the starting version of windows called windows 1.0 and so on Microsoft done great changes in Logos. The Logo looks great and I wish windows 8 would be much greater than the logo. Windows 8 beta version looks promising let see how promising will be the final version.

Show or hide the ribbon in Microsoft Office

For many people, the ribbon interface used in Microsoft Office 2007 is a great

step forward, while others find it overwhelming. If you fall into the latter category,

you’ll be happy to know that the ribbon can be temporarily hidden to provide you

with a larger working area.

It’s also worth noting that the ribbon can quite easily be hidden by accident, so if this has happened, use this tip to help find it again. Click the down arrow icon at the end of the Quick Access Toolbar and tick or untick the Minimize the Ribbon option.

This menu can also be accessed by right-clicking anywhere on the ribbon.
